About the Center

The CSU Center Academic Technology Innovations (CATI) leads high quality, learning and client - focused projects in support of CSU system-wide Academic Technology and other student success initiatives.

CATI (formerly Center for Distributed Learning) was founded in 1997 in response to the California State University, Integrated Technology Strategy. A new vision and name change for the center were warranted because of the increasing prominence of mobile learning, as well as the emergence of cloud-based services and eLearning offerings. Our work leverages our CSU communities to support faculty, students and staff through the development and dissemination of tools and strategies which employ the internet and related technologies and innovations.
